Work to Network

How did you meet your good friends?

  • Was it working on a project at work?
  • Was volunteering at your child’s school?
  • Was it playing together on a team in school?

Many great relationships get their start through shared work. In fact, work is a great way to make relationships. We become aligned through a common goal. We share the experience. Sometimes conversation comes more naturally when our hands are busy. We celebrate good work done.

Networking over drinks can be a minefield. Connecting while working might be meaningful.
