Things We Might Feel We Should Not Have to Tell Members (But We Do)

Sometimes we have to tell people things we do not think we should have to say to them:

  • The vibrant association is dynamic because members like you tell professionals like you all about the association.
  • Your experiences in our industry or profession might be very different than our other members’ experiences.
  • There is a lot of value in your membership, here let me show you.
  • Renew right away, so you do not accidentally forget.
  • Smile more, and our culture will get better.
  • Welcome new members, they are scared.

Gentle reminders go a long way toward improving our member’s value, experience, and culture.
