Are you faced with developing and launching a truly new and big innovation? This is not just a redesign of something that already exists. No, this project is totally new.

Some days when you think of the project do you feel like this?

innovation cliff (2)Innovation, change and trying something totally new can feel a bit like stepping off a cliff (if you can imagine what stepping off a cliff feels like). There are some organizations, however, where innovating is more akin to a very long mountain climb. There are ups and downs but over time these organizations manage to top prior successes. They have a practice of innovation.

The practice of innovation looks more like this:

innovation practice (2)The question then is will you innovate only when you need to (i.e. hoping that you will be able to step off that cliff each and every time)? Or will you develop a practice of innovation and join in a continuous journey?
