I was talking to the owner of a very fast growing $12 million company yesterday. He said, “my job satisfaction doesn’t come from what I do but from the really wonderful people I work with.”
People want to work with people they like and respect (preferably both of these things at the same time). I know this is such a obvious concept but, then I wonder why we all have to brace ourselves expecting blah to horrible customer service every time we have an interaction with a representative of a well-known company. Sure there are so who always exceed my expectations but, they seem so few and far between.
